Why advertise online?

Online adverts are a very cost-effective way to get your company name and products seen by tens of thous400ands of readers: they get many times the views of paper magazines, and orders of magnitude more than in exhibitions. Online adverts can also lead readers instantly to an unlimited amount of further information that can be updated at any time, not fixed once a page is printed.

The Internet has changed the way decision makers purchase products: your potential customers are seeking more of their information online; in business the tables have turned — most buyers are now finding the companies and products that suit their needs, rather than sales people finding customers.

According to MarketingSherpa's Business Technology Marketing Benchmark Guide 2007/8, even then 80% of decision makers who made a technology purchase believed that they found the vendor, not the sales person found them.

This means online marketing is becoming crucial for generating sales, by getting the company name and brands seen by purchasing decision makers.

MTB Europe has around 110,000 visits and over 650,000 page views per month. Our audience is approx 40% Europe, 40% US, 20% rest of the world.

We have a range of advertising options to promote your products and services to our audience: we offer advertisements (see below) and the Medical Technology Directory.

Advertorial

An advertorial is an article promoting a product or service that is unedited by MTB Europe. The length can be up to 1800 words (equivalent to about two printed pages in an A4 magazine), and can include images, contact details and links to web content related to the article.

An advertorial is labelled as such and published in the same way as an edited article: listed as new content (home page, RSS feed, newsletter) and permanently on the features page.

Cost: £200 (+VAT for UK) one-off charge.

To increase visibility to readers and length of time that it is visible prominently, advertising can be added to the package

Banner adverts

Adverts can be static images or animated gifs linked to your own web pages or a page about your products/services on MTB Europe.

Other animated images/videos are accepted, but we find that these tend to be blocked by organisations' IT security systems. We recommend that links go to pages specifically designed for the advertising campaign rather than, for example, a home page or generic page.
